HILLSDALE COUNTY'S COMMUNITY THEATRE

Safety Policies for 'Charlotte's Web'

at the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds

  • All performances will be held outdoors. The Sauk patrons are responsible for any chairs or blankets, etc. they want to use. (Blanket-sitters to the front, please) The Sauk is not responsible for items left behind by patrons. Guests will be asked to social distance from other attendees. Our volunteers will be glad to assist you in spacing.
  • Guests will be required to wear a mask at any time they are not seated. While seated, guests can remove their masks if they remain in one space although masks are encouraged throughout the performance. Our ushers and front of house volunteers will all be wearing face coverings.
  • Guests will have their temperature checked before they are allowed entry into the performance area. Anyone with a temperature over 100.4 Fahrenheit will not be admitted. This rule applies to all performers, technicians and volunteers as well.
  • Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets prior to coming to the Fairgrounds. We are unable to process credit cards while at the Fairgrounds. Cash or check will be accepted but exact change will be required.
  • You may use donor vouchers for these productions. Season ticket holders may use their vouchers for these productions.
  • No outside food or drink is allowed.
  • As we are outdoors, rain and thunderstorms are very real possibilities. We will make performance decisions as quickly as possible. If we must cancel, we will try to accommodate guests at another performance, but given strict gathering guidelines, we cannot promise this. If we cannot work you into another performance, we will refund your purchase (or you can donate your tickets back to the theatre).
  • Please be advised that our staff and volunteers are working extremely hard at staying healthy. We check their temperatures before rehearsals and performances, and they are not allowed to participate if they have a fever or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. For the safety of our theatre experience, if any audience member is experiencing fever or COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend. We will gladly make every effort to reschedule you or give you a full refund. The success and future of our season relies on honest participation from volunteers and guests.
  • Bathrooms will be available.
  • The performance space will open 45-minutes prior to the performance. Please do not congregate in a large group while waiting for seating to begin. The seating area will open 30-minutes prior to each performance.
  • No alcohol is allowed.
  • No firearms or weapons are allowed.
  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • Sunscreen and bug spray are suggested.
  • There will be no meet and greet with the cast following performances.
  • We ask you to be cooperative, supportive and kind as we begin to present theatre once again to a live audience. We can't wait to see you at the show.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at the theatre. We want your experience to be enjoyable, safe and entertaining.
