Safety Policies at The Sauk.

  • For safety and social distancing purposes, "A Night of Improv Comedy," "24-Hour Theatre Project," Plays-in-Development" and "Stuart Little" will be sold with limited capacity. We will be selling 92 seats per performance (approximately 39 percent of our available seating).

  • Guests will be required to wear a mask at all times while inside the theatre. Our ushers and front of house volunteers will all be wearing face coverings. The performers will be wearing clear face shields during the performance.

  • Patrons who cannot wear a mask for a medical reason are encouraged to stay at home until we can safely lift the required mask rule. We will miss you but we want you to stay safe!

  • Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets prior to coming to the theatre.

  • No outside food or drink is allowed.
  • At this time, no concessions will be sold.
  • For the safety of our theatre experience, if any audience member is experiencing fever or COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend. We will gladly make every effort to reschedule you or give you a full refund. The success and future of our season relies on honest participation from volunteers and guests.
  • The box office will offer refunds for any patron who does not feel safe attending the performance. Requests for refunds must be made before a performance begins. Once the performance has begun, refunds are not available.
  • Programs will be located at your seat upon arrival. At the end of the night, either take them home as a keepsake or deposit them in a garbage can. We cannot reuse programs at this time.
  • Bathrooms will be available. Motion-sensored soap dispensers have been installed in all of the bathrooms.
  • Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the lobby.
  • The house will open 30-minutes prior to the performance. Please do not congregate in a large group while waiting for seating to begin. The lobby and box office will open one hour prior to each performance.
  • No alcohol is allowed.
  • No firearms or weapons are allowed.
  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • There will be no meet and greet with the cast following performances.
  • We ask you to be cooperative, supportive and kind as we begin to present theatre once again to a live audience. We can't wait to see you at the show.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at the theatre. We want your experience to be enjoyable, safe and entertaining.
